June 25: Sechelt to Comox, BC: Here Comes the Sun

(Since John has provided a day's report on June 25, I'll give the slide show here.)

The race for the ferry produced a few wet, tired and happy early birds:

The Saltery Bay Ferry showed up on time, and everyone got aboard:

 

Once there, we quickly discovered the joys of the open boiler room door. We must have appeared mad to the other passengers, but it was better than a sauna to us cold, wet riders. Dave's the one who looks like a big blue bat.

Upstairs, Steve naturally found the warmest blower vent. Louise placed her food strategically nearby:

 

Miles: 77 Total: 273 Vertical: 3800 feet. Flat tires: None reported.
