August 19 - Another Great Montana Day: Lincoln to Missoula, MT

Guest Journalist: Joan

This marks our third day of pedaling with Bikrutz. So far, so good. No flats, lightning and thunder but it didn't strike us, lots of rain, but still afloat. Biking as been half the fun of this excursion; the other half has been enjoying the Montana countryside. From White Sulfur Springs to Ovando, over the Continental Divide, on to the Bob Marshall Wilderness portal. I now realize the Pacific Northwest is not the only place of evergreen beauty.

The other pleasures include planning and eating vegetarian meals with Cheryl, lots of girl/girl talk, watching the kids play, and just plain enjoying the company of the Bikrutz family. I admire Cheryl and Al's tenacity not only in biking, but in making this a family journey. I hope some of their coping skills rub off on me.
