Al: That is one of the best concert reviews I have ever read. Amazing details and really made me feel what it was like to be there. I am a music geek and there's nothing like that feeling of being in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. Santa Barbara is a special place in my gigography with a Radiohead show in the Bowl in '08 being my favorite show ever.

Hi, I know that many other people talk about physical preparation for a marathon and I've noticed in your artice how important it is to get the right mindset as well as preparation for running.

Thanks for the info and keep up the good run!

Finally had a few minutes to finish reading this, and I, too, appreciate the line about skiing every day as if it were your last chance to ski. Having just returned from Snowmass, and getting to ski a few runs with you (always humbling), I realize that I have always done that, even down to my last few turns on Fanny Hill on the way to the car - I try to make them the best turns ever, so even they end up being fun!

Thanks, as always!

I wish you had said that last line to me while I was there! I probably would've tried to enjoy myself a bit more than I did. I love you, Dad. Keep postin' and keep skiin' for me.

If you read a lot, you've probably read the provocative and sometimes disturbing book "Sex at Dawn" which was well reviewed. It takes an interesting stand on the marriage issue and is worth perusing if you haven't.
