We flew through Pennsylvania, entering on the shores of Lake Erie, motoring over a series of Iowa-like hills (though we didn't know it at the time), and spending one night - at an amusement park on Lake Conneaut. Cody took a few pictures of his parents biking; he routinely passed us 5 or 6 times a day, and this is what he saw:
We really liked the grape fields along Lake Erie. For some reason, this area is the home of Welch's grape juice, now known as fashionably good for your heart.
Of course, we saw some other signs along the way about things that aren't so good for you, but do generate a bit of country nostalgia
