June 25: Sechelt to Comox, BC: cont'd
Once off, it was another mad race to the Powell River ferry, which I spied steaming towards the dock, just as I hit the edge of town:
Rob and Mike finally got their new tires at the bike shop in town (27" isn't exactly a common size to carry for such a small town!). Louise had a bigger spread for us in the front of the upper passenger deck. The sun was finally out, and both people and clothing got a good drying out:
That night, Alf reviewed the route by the light of the fire and fading sun:
And, for the first time on the trip, it did not rain at night
